The Crab Genie is a magical tale of how a crab turns into a genie and what that crab really wants out of life. We initially meet the crab on a beach searching for food and follow its metamorphosis into a genie and, later, when found by a young girl on a yacht, released.
This poem does not rhyme and has been split into five divisions with a single stanza on each page. The sixteen stanzas, 6 lines per stanza, follow no meter, except for the second and fifth lines of a stanza which are three syllables each.
