When Vicki opened her eyes, an intimidating brightness welcomed her. Everything was too bright. Too piercing...as if laser beams were focused directly in her eyes. The last thing she could remember was heading back to her hotel room with….um...what was his name...Keith? Kalvin?.. They had met in a pub downtown Dubai and she thought he was cute...a decade younger, but quite appealing.
