When Det. Ty Connell’s cousin is killed by a stray bullet in a staged shooting at a popular downtown bar, Connell sets his sights with bitter vengeance on the same man—John O’Banion. Dani and Connell meet under awkward conditions and get off on the wrong foot, but soon are forced pull put aside their conflicting operating styles, pull together, and end up on the run for their lives when O’Banion sends his killing crew after them.
It all comes to a head on the very night that O’Banion and his crew are pulling off their biggest heist ever at the West Side docks. O’Banion has also managed to trick Dani into revealing where she is and has grabbed her. It’s then up to Connell to find Dani before O’Banion gets her out of his way for good. Connell teams up with a dogged reporter, Katy Duggan―who’s been hounding O’Banion in her paper―and they go on a desperate search to find where Dani’s being held. In the end, everyone converges on the O’Banion mansion on Long Island where a bloody ending and a shocking reveal take place. But do they get there in time to save Dani?
