Lindy Cole is on an enforced vacation because her boss, famous lawyer Ben Cross, is afraid she is going to have a stress induced heart attack by the age of thirty! When she stops for lunch in a little town that seems to call to her, the owner of the cafe exclaims that Lindy looks like the woman in the painting in the large parlor of the Dorland Estate. Lindy is amazed, but decides to go and have a look.
