The Daddy Diaries is taken from a series of online journal entries as the author details his adventures with his two sons, one of whom is autistic. With an eye toward the humorous, Paul takes us through a typical day of caring for his boys from getting up in the morning all the way through bedtime. Through the course of the book, he also deals with the death of his grandmother who was instrumental in raising him, pressures from a dead end job he wants out of and the steady disintegration of his marriage. He also talks about the challenges of being a daytime dad during the week while working the graveyard shift on the weekends.
