Dane sighed, breaking away from her. "You know that you're one of us at the Rose Cabaret. We all love and accept you as one of our own." His voice softened to an intimate tone. "And as for me? I am in love with you, Alina." He cupped her cheeks in two tender hands. "I want to keep you here with me, forever." His dulcet tones massaged this last word to delicious effect.
"Forever," Alina echoed with a nod. "That's what you really want, isn't it darling? You want to turn me into a vampire."
"An incubus vampire Alina," Dane sighed. "You would not become a killer." He grinned in spite of himself. "You'd just be supremely horny, all the time." He waggled his eyebrows. "And I'd be more than happy to help you with that situation."
