When they went back to her town home that night, Savannah was exhausted from crying. She was so exhausted but she started crying anyway while changing into her pajamas. That's when Spence came in the door, got in with her under the blankets and held her in his arms. They didn't need to talk. The need to be together was so great that there were no need for words. When he started kissing her mouth, Savannah only turned to him and started kissing him back with the passion equivalent to her pain at losing her bestfriend, and at missing him so much after all that time they'd been apart.
It was like yesterday, when they took each other's clothes off, it was still so familiar. When he pushed her back on the bed and started kissing her deeply on the mouth, it was like no time had passed. Savannah answered his every kiss and touch with a wanton, desperate need, as she had always done with him. Only with him. Their hours in bed together had been the most beautiful experiences she's had in her life and she believed it was over. But now, he's here again, and there was no stopping her from loving him again...
