Big Tam Calder is a closeted gay cop who finds himself in a tricky situation when he's lumbered with his boss's son during a skiing holiday in the Alps, and is obliged to share a room with him. Eighteen year old Finlay is very much to Tam's taste, but the lad is the last person he should make a play for if he wants to stay in the closet and keep his job. And it gets all the more awkward within minutes of arrival when Tam emerges from the shower with only a towel around his waist. Finlay's face lights up like Suchiehall Street at Christmas, making it clear to the big hunky cop that the attraction mutual.
Will the devil in Tam be able to cope, knowing what he knows? Will he be able to keep his hands to himself and not betray his secret to the son of his boss. But it is Finlay who can't keep his hands to himself when Tam returns from the bar pissed as a fart, and crashes out on the bed apparently asleep.
It’s an icy slope they soon find themselves on. But it’s a skiing holiday after all – and they’re here to have some fun! Yet who would have suspected how it all turned out, when the devil in Tam comes out to play.
Please note. This story is a rewrite of 'The Strong Arm of Big Tam's Law'. The original version was told from Finlay's point of view. This book is Tam's version of events, and it's a very different tale he has to tell. This is where we get to meet... The Devil in Big Tam Calder.
