The majority of people do not even think about the fact that mankind has been continually traveling through space on board of the spaceship planet earth, which houses in its interior a very powerful nature-made reactor that induces stresses on the earth crust which eventually result in catastrophic events such as volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Events with worldwide impact are labeled cataclysms. Several cataclysmic events cited by several authors are the subject of this essay.

The object of this effort was to determine if there were any additional data in support of these claims. To that end, statistical analysis was performed on the cited data and an equation was derived with a correlation coefficient of –0.9999+. Next, we searched for universal physical constants and earth constants that could exactly replace the values of the regression coefficients as a possible indication of a natural law. Finally we looked for any historic geological data of the Earth for comparison. The obvious remote available data was the geological time scale that we put side by side with the print out of the model. Like comparing fingerprints, more than 15 calculated points coincided with the starting times of geological periods or epochs. In addition, two extra points coincided with the age of the Earth and the age of the Universe. This comparison represents the journey of the remote past of the Earth and validates the claims of the cited authors.

The journey of the future concerns us, and although it is true that we can unearth the past, it is also true that we cannot quantify the future, but we have been able to surmise it. Our model projects that the earth will be destroyed as a result of repetitive earthquakes, as described in the Bible. The earth’s existence runs out of time as the image of an asymptotic limiting time value. Therefore, the calculated dates of future cataclysms are not real dates, but rather flags indicating the signs of a turbulent future coming to an end because of increasing frequency of tectonic disasters of magnitude never witnessed before by mankind (Apocalypse/Revelation 16:17–21).

Mankind was put on this earth trek due to disobedience and implicit arrogance, but unlike normal journeys that come to an end, this one will continue just for the elects.
