The Economics of Mercy is written for anyone who would like to know more about economics but are often discouraged by the pictorial graphs and the statistical data often presented in such textbooks. The whole idea of this book is to demonstrate that economics can be easily understood without having to illustrate the theory using such methods.
Even of more interest is that although economics is a social science and often deemed unrealistic because of the assumptions that must be made to test the theories, the practical applications of those theories are tried and true, as current events have showed us. It may be that economics is the basis of all physical activity of mankind, but it is also economics that ought to serve the moral or spiritual aspirations of mankind.
