Their home has been destroyed, their king and one of the Prophets have sided with the Void. Furthermore, the Prophet of the Dead has been captured by the ern, and the other Prophets are scattered across the land. Only four remain – the swordsman Ayrim, the Prophet Linspan, the archer Dariel, and the blind Priest Rignslin.

The entirety of the Aeresan army behind them and the ern army ahead of them, the four embark on a mad race to the Tower in a desperate search for allies to oppose the Nothing. But with one of the Prophets captured, they know that uniting the six powers against the Void is growing increasingly unlikely. Their only hope that some sort of answer can be found amongst the home of the Wizards.

The Eighth Power continues as four men stand united against Vid and his vast army of dark followers.
