In the criminal world, clashes between factions tend to be bloody and deadly.
Trusting someone is not easy. Betrayal is always expected.
The Zetas, a Mexican Cartel, decide to do business in New York City where they soon come in direct conflict with the established local Mafia Families.
In the midst of this conflict, Sabrina, Don Catania’s daughter, falls in love with Javier Espinosa, the son of the leader of the Zetas. This infuriates her father.
Don Catania decides to have all the members of the Zetas eliminated, including Javier.
He calls a meeting of the NYC Mafia Families.
As Don Catania shows up, he gets shot. Within days, his two sons are killed.
The FBI becomes involved. Evidence leads them to think it was an inside job.
However, all the clues are circumstantial evidence.
The main concern of the CIA and the Pentagon is the possibility that the Zetas are the gateway to the USA for terrorists.
The CIA recruits Rafael to infiltrate the Zetas. Rafael’s father, a Mexican police officer, was killed by the Zetas.
Then an attempt is made on Sabrina, the last survivor of the Catania Family.
In the meantime, Luigi Franchischiello, Don Catania’s Consigliere, conducts his own investigation. Eventually, the investigators reach a dead end.
