Just released from prison, Johnny desperately tries to make the most of his second chance at life, only to learn that a second chance doesn't exist and that his past still keeps him far from being a free man. Quickly realizing he can't escape his past, he sets out to destroy it instead. While traveling down the road towards destruction, Johnny discovers that others also are living in a life of imprisonment too. The difference, though, is that their prison bars are actually white picket fences and their prison sentences are their family secrets.
