The adventure in the Tokorel universe continues. This book picks up 10 years after the end of book 2. Permac and Linsora have lived a perfect life. Too perfect in fact and a restlessness suddenly sets in to break the contentment. Linsora suddenly feels the need to return to her home planet of Khizara and oddly enough, her mate is feelign the same thing. But now they have a child and Linsora feels some trepidation in bringing him. Despite her feelings, she does and the child is kidnapped by some familiar old enemies, sending Permac and Linsora on a trek across the galaxy to find him and rescue him from his captors.
