Over the last several decades, one of the most frustrating problems facing bowlers who are looking to get better at the sport has been the lack of a simple, universally accepted system that works for everyone. Enter Mark Baker and his revolutionary approach to coaching -- an approach that has made him the most sought-after bowling coach in the world. In this book, Baker reveals entirely new and simple ways to illustrate the kinds of things that can immediately improve a bowler's scores without completely reinventing the bowler's own unique style. Using empirical evidence illustrated by common traits that the vast majority of Hall-of- Fame-caliber bowlers possess, Baker convincingly (and humorously) explains what it takes to improve your bowling scores by making small, easy-to-adopt changes within the structure of your own, natural game. The Game Changer truly is a game changer when it comes to the way bowlers and bowling coaches will approach bowling improvement for the foreseeable future.About the Author About the Author Mark Baker has been active in the sport of bowling for more than thirty years, as a competitor, as a salesperson and, now, as an instructor. Turning pro in 1982, Mark enjoyed a very successful bowling career, earning four PBA National Tour titles and appearing on television as a top-five finalist on more than two dozen occasions. In the mid 1980s he established himself as one of the premier players in the world, earning the "George Young High Average Award" in 1985 and a selection to the prestigious Bowlers Journal All-American First Team. Mark's professional bowling career was shortened due to a serious back injury, but his bowling exploits earned him inductions into both the Orange County and Southern California Bowling Halls of Fame. While working as the Southern California sales manager for Cal Bowling Supply, Mark expanded his coaching business, rapidly growing his private clientele and developing "Camp Bakes" -- which is now considered one of the premier bowling camps in the world. For his achievements in coaching, Mark has been named one of the "Top 100 Coaches in the United States" by Bowlers Journal International magazine on three separate occasions. He also coaches several of the top bowlers on the PBA Tour, including PBA Players of the Year Chris Barnes, Tommy Jones, and Mika Koivuniemi; three-time PBA Tournament of Champions winner Jason Couch; 2009 U.S. Open Champion Bill O'Neill; and 2012 USBC Masters Champion Mike Fagan. Mark currently lives in Yorba Linda, California, with his wife, Shannon, and son, Gage.
