The Goddess Collection is a collection of twelve poems in which Ailie Wallace draws comparisons between the ancient Greek goddesses and the everyday women of the 21st century. Through the themes of gender roles, sexual assault, motherhood, and feminism, Ailie addresses many of the issues women face today, and also asks whether every woman has a Goddess inside. Each poem is paired with an exquisite artwork, and all artworks are by creative women from the Women in the Arts Scotland group.
