The Brothers Grimm (or Die Brüder Grimm), Jacob (1785–1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786–1859), were German academics, linguists, cultural researchers but first af all the best-known storytellers of folk tales, and popularized stories such as "Cinderella" ("Aschenputtel"), "The Frog Prince" ("Der Froschkönig"), "Hansel and Gretel" ("Hänsel und Gretel"), "Rapunzel", "Rumpelstiltskin" ("Rumpelstilzchen"), and "Snow White" ("Schneewittchen"). The popularity of the Grimms' collected folk tales has endured well and even nowadays The Brothers Grimm stories break records of popularity. This is a story about both young and awkward son who makes too many mistakes but finally proves himself as a winner to his father. Although his disobedience slows him down on his way. A king gives his son a task to find the golden bird because every month it robs apples in the castle's garden. On his way he meets a fox which helps him to recover a Golden Horse and a Golden Bird. In exchange for his help the fox begs him to shoot her and cut of its head. But he denies doing that. After a while the same fox saves his life again from being killed by his own brothers and gives advice how to sneak into the father's castle. Why this fox is so kind you will find out only in the end.
