In the 30 years since Dr Francis Schaeffer’s The Great Evangelical Disaster showed how what was supposed to be ‘the Bible-believing evangelical church’ was largely becoming ineffectual and abandoned by God as a result of becoming increasingly dominated by a new ‘super-spirituality’.
