God sets prophets among us in every age. Our challenge is to hear and discern them. The prophet's challenge is to be obedient to God's call and assignment in a society which clings to the familiar and the traditional. Who are we as a species? In an age of information what cold, hard facts may be revealed by giving today's seed (the new heart) a voice? What is our standard? What is our seed?

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed way; behold, all things become new." II Corinthians 5:17. This is a genetic shift or an upgrade in our species which is 'good news'. The 'new heart' as promised is not just a generic term of group like-think, but a miraculous endowment of power and renewal. This writer has experienced this phenomenal change.
