Is there only one way to be saved? Why do I believe that belief in Jesus (Yeshua) is the only way to be saved?
[“Jesus” is the Greek (Ἰησοῦς (Iēsous)) to English derivation. “Yeshua” (ישוע), is the Hebrew to English derivation]
One might also ask, “Saved from what?” What is it that can stop you from knowing anything, seeing anything, experiencing anything, and enjoying anything (the list can go on and on)?
NOT HAVING LIFE!! You must be ALIVE to experience anything. As it is written:
For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? (Mark 8:36 NASV)
In other words: If you were the most powerful and richest person in the world; if you were to lose your life, you have nothing!
(Eccl 9:4 NLT) There is hope only for the living. For as they say, "It is better to be a live dog than a dead lion!"
What is offered by God is eternal life! One might say, “I wouldn’t want to live forever.” The only reason one would say that is because this present life is in mind. In this present life, there are many things to be concerned about. But the life to come, the life that God promises for those who love Him, is wonderful beyond what we can conceive in our natural minds!
(1 Cor 2:9 NIV) However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"--
So how does one acquire that life I'm referring to, and what does the holiness of God have to do with it?
