I could feel Sharon’s eyes digging into me from across the room, but I was getting stuck into this guy, he really made me laugh of his tales of venturing across Europe to meet up with colleagues and silly pranks they’d all play on each other, wow, what another world, I thought, and there was me thinking the south of France when I was twelve was exciting.
Ok so his hair wasn’t the best cut I could’ve done, but under the circumstances I think I did a pretty good job.
‘So tell me about yourself?’ he asked, which stumped me rigid, he was so interested in me and wanted to know more and more, I felt like the tables had turned and her was trying to flatter me, and it was working a little too well.
‘Will you excuse me for a moment’ I asked resting my hands on his shoulder and nearing close to his ear.
‘Of course’ he laughed finishing off the last of the story story.
I had to leave the room, immediately!
I made it to the bathroom in time glancing over Sharon’s plea for an explanation, tottering on my heels and shut the cubicle door, oh god no, I wasn’t going for a wee or the other, oh god I need to..........
