Jack Coe was one of the first tent evangelists of the post World War II period in the United States. After receiving a miraculous healing, Coe felt called of God to the gospel ministry.

For the next twelve years Coe would be a leading proponent of divine healing and organized many tent revivals to spread his message.

He soon had the largest tent of all the 1950's healing evangelists, seating over 22,000 people. He was a large man with a commanding stage presence and his direct preaching appealed to multitudes who came to find salvation and healing in his massive crusades.
