Ritchy Mikkelson receives word that the nun who took him in and raised him from infancy is on her death bed. Sister Agnes was trying to hold on in order to see Ritchy one final time. He needed to hurry though.
While driving a Pennsylvania back road Ritchy has to swerve in order to avoid a collision with a deer that was standing in the middle of the road. He finds himself going up and over the guardrail and into the inky blackness.
When he awakens Ritchy finds himself standing in "The City" where Jay charges him with a task. Ritchy must decide the fate of all of the politicians from the current era. However in order for Ritchy to complete this task he must go over and fully examine Luci's realm. A land as if set in medieval time, harsh and desolate. A place of mud and stone, trials and tribulation, hard labor and punishment.
It is upon arriving in Luci's realm that the adventure truly begins. Travelling by foot and horse, fighting with dirk and sword, Ritchy soon meets up with Sion. The two of them rescue a girl from a brutal sexual assault.
The three of them, Ritchy Sion and Avril, then continue on with the journey. Examining the realm. Aiding Ritchy in the laying our of his plan so that he may carry out the task he was charged with.
Action, adventure, sex and violence await. With a touch of dark humor thrown in for good measure as the three search for the Key.
