Bella and the Blue Bird follows Bella and her friends as they find an injured bird. They think the bully is hurting him but soon learn that he is just trying to help. As they search for Billy the Blue Birds family Bella learns how different each of their families are, some just have a mother, some just a father, another even lives with his grandparents. Bella learns an important lesson in acceptance and kindness, befriending the bully Benson. Bella also learns about differences in families and how each one is just as wonderful as the other even if they are not like hers.
