I left Greece and moved to London at the onset of a global financial crisis in 2009. I had just finished my studies and all I wanted was to get into investment banking and make lots of money. Through iron and fire I made it. It was so exciting in the beginning. Lots of money. Prestige. I started working long hours. More hours. And more hours. My life became just work. The weeks were passing so quickly. I gave up all my hobbies to work more. No time for friends either. 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years. STOP.
I quit my job.
I simplified my life. I started travelling again. I realised that you don’t need much to be happy. I took the time to see what’s important in life and what’s not.
I suddenly became more productive. I started writing about my experiences, making videos on YouTube and connecting with other similar souls out there.
This book has tips on how to declutter your life and live with what you truly need. It’s a collection of tips from my personal experiences and the experiences of other minimalists out there who decided to live a simple, more meaningful life.
You will find tips on how to declutter your mind, house, wardrobe, computer, phone, and more.
If you are an online entrepreneur like me, you’ll find tips on how to manage with stress and pay attention to what creates value to your business so you avoid the burnout.
You’ll also find tips on how to learn more minimalistically and avoid information overloading.
Minimalism is a practice, a philosophy like meditation and mindfulness.
It takes time. You need to start small and grow.
You need to take a step back, think, breathe.
MInimalistically yours,
Angelos Georgakis
PS: Lots of bonuses inside for self-development freaks like myself. :)
