I kind of feel like a fifth wheel lately. Carla and Deanna both have something romantic going on with Roger. Whatever went on after the soccer game I’ll never know, but my sisters are now sharing Roger. Sometimes Deanna sleeps with him, sometimes Carla sleeps with him. The only reason I know this is that Carla has asked that I keep my bedroom door open on the nights when she sleeps downstairs with Roger, just in case the girls need anything.
Outwardly, nothing has changed. Carla and Roger still go into work together each morning. Deanna still comes home every night and makes dinner for all of us. The kids are still kids, enjoying having three moms and one dad always on hand to play with or fix an accident with a hug and a kiss. If I didn’t know any better I’d say all families were this happy.
