This book is titled: The Musicians Handbook to Better Sounding Drums and in it I’ve compiled a list of things I’ve learned over the years for obtaining a better sounding drum kit—live or in the studio. I’ll be covering a few mixing tips towards the end, but my primary focus will be helping you to achieve a great sound before you record. I will not be suggesting that you buy brand new drums & cymbals. It’s all about taking advantage of the drums you already own and infusing them with new life. It’s time to start giving your instrument some love.
