In 2007, someone told me about the new 'Theory of 1984', which stated that where we are now (meaning 2007) is where we should have been in 1984, technologically speaking. I found this very interesting at the time and wondered why we were approximately 23 years behind where we should be in a technological sense. If anything, I thought we were moving too fast, especially in the arena of technology. From then onwards I began to investigate this theory and am not even 100% sure if such a theory even existed in the first place so, together with all the research and thinking I did, I created it and am now publishing it online. I have told it to several people over recent years, many of whom found it fascinating as it clearly shows why we are well and truly behind in our technological advancement despite what we might think or have been told.

Lastly, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to all external sources of information I have used in writing this eBook which have not been fully acknowledged or recognized in it due to full records not being kept at the time of writing.
