Eloness blinked and noticed that the flames had changed. Standing before her was a red-skinned, vaguely feminine shaped creature. It looked like a human woman, if she had curly black horns growing out of each side of her head, glowing red eyes, and a long, sinewy tail that began where her spine ended.

Eloness licked her lips. The breathless passages relating the details of the creature had not prepared her for its beauty. She knew that the thing charmed many wizards, especially the older, lonelier ones. The remnants of the passages she had uncovered had taught her that much. The less scholarly journals and more lurid biographies had filled in the more interesting, if sordid, details which the passages had glossed over.

The sorceress would get revenge on the old fool for shaming her. The creature she summoned now would see to that. But was she prepared for all that the creature had to offer?
