We proudly present you one of the most beautiful tales by Grimm brothers The Old Woman in the Wood. The original story was told to Brothers Grimm in Paderborn in July 1813 by the family Haxthausen. When poor servant girl travelled with master’s family through the forest they were attacked by robbers. Everybody but she was killed as she hid. She couldn’t find the road out of the wood. A dove brought her a golden key to unlock a tree, where she found something to eat. Then the dove came again with another key. In the next tree, she found a place to lay her head. Thus, the dove helped girl to survive for many days. But once the bird asked her to come to an old lady’s house and take the plain ring. You will recognize the ending of this beautiful story, when you read the whole tale.
