The Public Sector Manager is one of a series of books entitled “Essential Skills for the Public Sector”. It focuses on the skills and knowledge that a public sector manager should have, including their key attributes; customer focus; management techniques; decision making; value for money; quality service provision; and entrepreneurship. The style of the book encourages self-development and continuous improvement with the inclusion of skill based exercises, and practical self-assessment activities.
