When dirt poor waitress Indira discovers she's been left a fortune she can't believe her luck. Until she discovers becoming an heiress comes at a price.

Her life.

However she needs to find out which one of her newly acquired relatives wants her dead. After the latest attempt Mekhi her PA calls in a favour hiring bodyguard Gage who is a Siberian tiger shifter. Indie and Gage don't get on, their relationship a volatile powder keg. Yet it is one that soon turns to lust.

 

Indie suffers low self-esteem and is convinced the only reason a good looking male like Gage would come onto her is because of her money. A conclusion that pisses Gage off, big style. He swears not to touch her again until she admits her mistake.

 

When Indie places her hand on a stone from a magical ring resembling Stonehenge she learns of a myth. That a witch placed a curse on all male descendants after her lover Jeremiah refused to marry her.

 

Discovering his diary she reads that their tombs lay in the catacombs beneath the house guarded by nytherms. It states in his writing that a female relation will fetch them back to life.

 

Indie isn't impressed, she's so not into creepy scenes. When she finds herself kidnapped and at the mercy of the nytherms knows only one man can save her. Will she finally learn to trust her mate, and admit her love for him? Because only then can Indie stand a chance of living.
