Who knew that going home for the holidays this year would be such a challenge.

Katie Karlisle, a second year student at Dalton University, is anxious to get home to her family and her boyfriend, Austin. On the morning she's set to leave, she discovers more snow has fallen, making it almost impossible to leave her dorm. But she's not going to let a little snow stop her.

Barely making it to the bus station in time, the only seat left is next to an older, rough looking gentleman named Jack. Jack and Katie eventually warm up to one another, and Katie is shocked to learn the reason why Jack is traveling this holiday season.

Faced with having to make some decisions that could affect her later on, Katie does what she feels is right—for her sake and for Jack's.

Does she make the right decision to stay on the bus or will this ride home for Christmas be one that she remembers for the rest of her life?
