The year is 1885 and Tommy Wade is only seventeen when he witnesses the brutal deaths of his father and mother. Four men killed them in cold blood. His father was a preacher and a farmer who was loved by everyone. Tommy is filled with anger and rage. He sets out to find these men and to make them pay for what they have done to his family; he will kill them. However, he is a farmer and he is not trained to take on such a task. How can he learn to use a gun? Who will teach him? His uncle, the black sheep of the family, comes to his aid. Luckily, as it turns out, he is a bounty hunter and a gunfighter. Together, they set out to catch and kill the renegade Mexican outlaws who murdered Tommys mother and father. This romantic western adventure leads Tommy and his uncle from Oklahoma through Texas on a cattle drive, as they search for these wicked men. Along the way, God changes Tommys life in a gradual, subtle way, and as a result; Tommy changes the lives of people he comes in contact with.
