The Sandman enters your room every night and sprinkles his magic sand. He sends you through the portal of the night into a dreamy world of fantasy. But some nights, the fantasy seems all too real and the portal is locked shut behind you. The dream-world transforms into a scream-world where reality is bent and distorted and the only way out is to pray that you will wake up sane.

In this anthology The Sandman whispers four yarns of the macabre and strange.

His first yarn will introduce you to Homer Crooks who has a bit of a conflict with his mother, Sophie. Homer defiantly won’t like what’s on the menu when he has “Sunday Dinner with Sophie”.

Next, things go bump in the night…really. Jack has a noisy, annoying and mysterious neighbor. When he goes to talk with “The Noisemaker” about all the racket he finds himself (and everyone else) in a whole mess of trouble.

The Sandman’s third tale takes you to a cozy, fire lit cabin in the woods where a few good buddies have gathered for their annual hunting trip. This year, they encounter some big game they’ve never seen before. They quickly realize that they’re not only the hunters, but also the hunted, when the “The Hunting Trip” of their lives turns into a horror show.

Finally, The Sandman shows you the macabre side of alien abduction. Or does he really? It could be a tale of the psychological twists of one very disturbed man. Or Not. You decide when the Sandman introduces you to “The Knights of the Royal Promantilnoxal Order”.

I hope you thoroughly enjoy The Sandman’s Yarns. If you do please write a review. --J.E. Sloan
