Melissa Andersson is a good Jewish girl, the daughter of progressive lawyers, imbued with the zealous liberal ideology of political correctness, inclusiveness and an earnest need to assert the equality of all. Weeks into her first year at Harvard she accepts a date with DeShawn Washington, a black groundskeeper at school.
