The book “The Two Kingdoms” consists of two linked stories. The first story “Maybe yes – Maybe no Kingdom” is a story set many centuries ago. It tells the story of twins, Princess and Prince. They end up in a desert valley with no way of escape. They stop in front of a very large stone face. It is the image of a woman face looking heavenwards.Water flows out of her eyes forming two torrents. The woman is crying. There, they remember the legend told many years earlier by a strange fisherman with a long white beard... The second story is a legend, “The Kingdom of the Crying Woman”. The story takes place many many centuries before the twins end up in the mysterious valley. It tells how the rich and flourishing “Kingdom of the Mountains” became the “Kingdom of the Crying Woman”.The young blond prince of the “Kingdom of Mountains” fell in love with a poor girl, but when he became king, he left her for a spoilt princess, which was the biggest mistake he ever made...
