Bruce just wanted to cure his sickness, but it seems that messing with science caused him more problems then it did good. His endeavors backed fired on him when a clone was created by Dr. Rafeal Shamirra and used for evil. The clone begin to do evil things which lead to Bruce being blamed for the sinister deeds.
One day, Bruce some how was struck by lightening, and that lightening created a superhuman that would soon grow to fight evil and save the city of Atlanta.
