"The Unforced Rhythms of His Grace" takes a look at life and what it means to be the Beloved of God - with all its pain and disappointments, joy and anticipation - and asks the question; Where is the goodness, kindness, favor and love of the Father in all of it? And if the death, burial, resurrection, and enthronement of Jesus is a finished work, then what does that look like for you and I in real life, in real time? What does it mean to be prophetic, to struggle with addiction, depression and fear? If we've really been made new in Christ Jesus, why do we still struggle with some of the same issues we struggled with before we knew Him?
By looking at scripture, culture, and the promises of God, I hope to provoke the reader into taking a second look at what they currently believe to be true about the Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, themselves, and the world around them, then ask the question; does anything need to change? If the answer is 'no', then I hope they enjoyed what I had to share and pass it on to their friends. But if on the other hand the answer is 'yes', then I hope they realize they are not alone, and that it's okay to ask for a different set of lenses to see through, in order to begin exploring all the possibilities.
