Thank you for being here and thank you for supporting this effort, an effort much more challenging than I’d originally conceived. Simply put: this is a book of true stories. There is an eternal and timeless element inherent in stories. They convey something that can’t be conveyed any other way or by any other means. Stories have been the mainstay of man’s history and knowledge since life began. Thus this book is simply an anthology of carefully selected stories that were selected from a much larger pool. I have found and proven that these exact stories, if comprehend in depth, transform lives. I’ve seen just one of these simple stories change people’s lives in a positive direction. People find themselves better off after reading or hearing the story, or series of stories, than before. I find that a powerful thing to give. That’s why I compiled this book. Sometimes one simple story can open the hearer to an ‘experiential reality’ of a much deeper truth. This is a book filled with stories. Each story is unique! I’ve seen just one simple story change people in a positive direction for life. Sometimes a simple story can open the hearer to an experience they desperately need. Sometimes it just takes the edge off some experience the reader is going through or sends them in a wiser direction. Sometimes it just makes the reader laugh! Sometimes they cry. Responses vary and as a friend of mine told me, “It’s all good.” There’s no beginning and no end to the book. Each story is unique! The stories are real. There are stories about great danger, about life and death, and about deep intimacy. There are stories about hope and humor. These stories share the common element of “miracles”. Please know the stories themselves are not about telling people where they should go, what they should do, or how they should act. However, these are stories that tend to change people’s lives, inspire people, or cause people to think deeper and seek harder. This introduction also contains a request, a request specifically to you. The Request: If you find any one, or any combination, of these stories has a positive impact on you; please share it with someone else. All you do is (1) let them read what influenced you and (2) ask them for their feedback. Better still; share your positive experience with many others. If one person shares their positive experience with 10 others, and those 10 share their positive experience with 10 and so on times 10, things change. With that kind of positive ripple the world can’t help change for the positive. Please notice that these stories are sticky. Once one of these stories is read and felt, it will always be remembered. It will be told over and over at the most appropriate times (and sometimes told at the most inappropriate of times)! That’s the power of stories. That’s why I put the book in this format. It’s every author’s dream to have people of great influence read their works, have a positive impact, and then share that impact with others. I’m talking about people like Oprah, or Richard Branson, or Peter Diamindis, or Steven Hawkins, or the Pope. I’m sure that if they read and were positively influenced, they would share that with others in their sphere of influence. That would be a big influence. Though it could happen, it’s unlikely. On the other hand YOU, simply sharing YOUR positive impact with one other person (or 5 others or 10 others), that’s very doable. That is the request. The truth is, with just you sharing your experience; we can change the world to the positive! Thank so much and may many blessings shower your path through life.
