Language: English

She wants to share her faith in God by transmitting an oral history, which is the way of her ancient world. Angelique’s first language is Cree, a rarity in the latter day generations of First Nations in Canada. Up until the age of 9 she spoke Cree almost exclusively, and until she was age 15 Angie had a difficult time getting access to any English whatsoever in her journey through the wilderness of northern Manitoba.
Perseverance is what you will learn from Angie. She takes no half measures in life, and when the time came for her to get serious about learning English Angie sought learning from the first book in the language, The Holy Bible.
The Lord has opened doors for Angie, and she recollects a life-long relationship with God. She believes in worshipping Christ with Evangelical devotion. She thanks God for a full life that continues to offer challenges and rewards in day-tight compartments.
Âhkameyihtamowin: perseverance
Angie has two important scriptures that she lives by from Proverbs and a favourite from 1 Corinthians. These are found at the back of the book. We hope you enjoy the journey there.
