This book contains three different stories from three, among many cultural backgrounds in Africa. Ode Aperin: The Great Hunter is of Yoruba background, this story will appeal to young children while they acquire the qualities of love, courage and good nature as demonstrated by Ubi The Grate Hunter. In Idori: The Wealthy Miser, - a story of Ijaw cultural background, Kirimini was not only mean, but also very selfish and greedy. His unkind gesture made everyone despise him in spite of his great wealth. No wonder he was given the name Idori-the wealthy miser. His greatest undoing was the poisoning of the water that was used by everyone in the island. This led him into several years of strange life. Uhi: Grandpas Tale of Early Men & the Dinosaurs is a fiction of Igbira back ground. The author uses this medium to educate children to be courageous and not to give up struggling in life. He also exposes them to stages of mans evolution and the extinct animal called dinosaur.
