Tibetian fairy-tales reflected thew wisdom of the Tibetian people and belongs to the heritage of one of the oldest cultures. Many of these tales have a sacred core as they tell us of the creation of the world, the origin of various natural forces, of the afterlife as Tibetians see it according to their Buddhist-driven beliefs.
The Tiger and the Frog is a story of an old frog, which claimed to be the king of all frogs, and a hungry tiger that was passing by, looking for food. And the frog did not wat to become that food at all. But it was old and helpless against a hungry predator. So there was only one way for the frog – to outwit the tiger.
