Introduction

This is of course what one aspires too, when one is looking for a long-term relationship – a loving and caring partner.

Dating, especially in the form of getting to know somebody for a potential long-term relationship is a relatively modern concept, in human courtship behavior. In olden times, the concept of a boy and a girl going outside, all alone on a date was, not acceptable in a large number of traditional societies. That was the time when the elders of the tribe, society, and race decided that a marriage had to be done based on financial status and genetic lines. Most of the time the boy and the girl did not get a chance to see their future partners, because the elders had already decided upon the marriage.

But as time went by, and society rules changed and traditional ideas and conventions began to get more obsolete, especially with the dearth of young men, after World War I & II, when many men were killed off, women decided that if they had to get a partner, a husband, society had to be changed. Men also decided that courtship rules especially when they were searching for the perfect long-term partner could only be done through face-to-face interaction with the potential partner to see if they were compatible, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and socially.

Both men and women really could not wait around with arms folded, and eyes bowed down modestly, while their elders decided that this boy was suitable for their daughter, and the marriage would be held six months from now.

And so the concept of dating came into existence, especially in America. European countries, which were more traditional, took up this idea slowly and in many parts of the East and in Africa, dating is still not a part of traditional culture.

This book is for all those men who want to have a perfect date, and are too shy to take the first step. It is written from a man’s perspective, and also is going to give you a little bit of information about a typical normal red-blooded woman’s psychology.

Firstly, you have to remember that when you ask a woman on a date, she is being naturally programmed in analyzing you as a potential mate with which she can have a long-term relationship. She is going to invest a lot of emotional, spiritual, and mental thought in this idea. If you intend easy conquests and are subconsciously looking for women who do not intend to have a long-term commitment, but just want fun and games at your expense, all that is very enjoyable, when you are in your 20s, but as you grow up and mature, you are going to get a bit tired of these shallow, self-seeking, beautiful beings with absolutely no emotional depth.
