To Taunt A Wounded Tiger charts the events that follow a political skyjacking of a US passenger aircraft bound for South Africa. On board are 6 year old Laura Mornay travelling with her uncle Colin. Her father, David Mornay a retired construction engineer/ex Vietnam Marine Combat Engineer has remained in Victoria to have recently discovered life threatening wartime shrapnel removed from his neck.
The aircraft is captured by a group of Hezbollah/Hamas fighters demanding the release of top officials held in Israeli jails and is forced to land at Ilha do Sal a tiny island of the Cape Verdes Group off the West coast of Africa.
David Mornay through a series of seemingly impossible but plausible events captures a group of high ranking Hezbollah/Hamas dignitaries visiting Victoria at the invitation of the Canadian Government and he in turn demands the safe return of his daughter.
The ensuing stand off involves the CIA who have a deep cover agent on board the aircraft and the Israeli government.
