In a city of extraordinary magnitude, one private eye finds himself knee deep in crooked cops, bribery, and corporate extortion.
As he becomes more intertwined with the unraveling mystery, he must solve the case before he gets caught in the crossfire.

Strange things are afoot at ELCO. Everything has changed since Jefferson got involved. He wondered how he ended up in this situation.
It was only a few years ago he was sitting at the dinner table with his family. Things were always complicated on the East coast.
He hated going home. His father, a crumpled twig of a man, sat at the head of the table. He just sat there scowling at his family.
The broken capillaries pulsed across the bridge of his nose. Sweat formed on his brow. He looked down at his hand holding the fork.
His hand began to shake. It was too late.
"I have to poop!" He yelled out loud.
This statement erupted into an argument at the dinner table.
Jefferson slammed his fist down on the table.
"Then go to the God Damn bathroom!" He screamed as spit flew out of his mouth.
The Egg Council was never happy about Jefferson taking over at ELCO, not with him asking questions.
But the disappearance of an ELCO employee would change everything. What was really going on at ELCO?
Peter Fine, private eye, was about to find out.
