In 1952, young Prince Dorin is sent to a New Dale a small town in the United States to complete his education. While there he meets Tess and Harry. The self appointed queen and king of the high school. Dorin does like the way the cheerleader and quaterback treat his fellow students. He takes every oppurtunity to humilate them. Before he graduates, a friend vanishes.
Five years later, life is different for Tess and Harry. Neither has found success in their lives. Both have returned to New Dale. Bad luck seemes to follow them until they win a trip to Europe. It will change their lives. They will even meet a new young king.
