Trajectory and other works is a quartet of litographs - an experimental literary form that uses language to generate complex temporal images in the mind of the reader the elements of which, when taken together, tell their story.
'Trajectory' starts on a planet that has a unique relationship to our planet Earth. The reader is then taken on an unusual journey following a single moment in time back to our solar system and along a 'trajectory' that examines the incredible complexity of being human.
'The key' begins with the death of a mysterious figure. The piece then takes the reader deep into a realm where mythology, fantasy and history combine to reveal how the death came about.
'Distractions' is a piece that records a moment where a series of seemingly unrelated participants are affected by distractions in remarkably different ways.
The final piece, 'Conservation', is set in the twenty second century. It examines a moment in time build around the hypothesis that while our living conditions may change greatly between now and then, the things that worry us as we grow old may not, in fact, be so different.
Each piece in this quartet of litographs is a complete, complex, static temporal image that stands on its own. Please note, however, that 'Trajectory and other works' is a small collection of experimental works.
For readers with devices that permit it, a black background generates an even more immersive reading experience.
