These stories represent the time in the author’s career when he traveled to commission, and later to train, operators in the operation of complicated water treatment plants. The plants are not to be compared to ordinary drinkable water (potable water) plants but instead are plants that produce extremely clean, or ultra-pure, water for very highly technical purposes. The stories are about the situations the author found himself in while carrying out his tasks. Many humorous situations arose, and at least one was quite dangerous. The stories are true as far as the author can recall and will take you to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America. Two trips were taken to China and other countries in the far east. As noted in the foreword, they are presented in no chronological order so the reader can pick and choose locations that interest him or her. The author lives in southern Ontario having emigrated to Canada in 1967.
