You will get lost in the story of romance and mystery surrounding the Beale Treasure and two missing people. Based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Treasure Lust captures the scenery and legends that surround the infamous treasure. Damon has to outsmart unforeseen enemies and answer unanswerable questions while courting his lifelong crush Lora. The outrageous characters and their hidden secrets come to light as investigators dig into the personal history of several influential city figures. This digging leads to murder, tragic accidents, broken relationships and romance. Treasure Lust follows in the footsteps of my other two books; MANA: A loved ones Bi-polar Mania and REDRUM: Murder in DC; by combining my experiences with fiction to create a story of adventure and mystery. My life has given me great insight into people and how they react in many circumstances. I was a police officer and detective with three police departments in Virginia. One of my daughters was a police detective and my son is now a police officer. I served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1966 during the Vietnam Conflict. As a Vietnam veteran, I have experienced human behavior at its worst and its best. As a police officer I have an inside knowledge of the working of not only the police department, but also the criminal mind.
